It's Sunday night now and we have been spending the day loading up the boat with all our boxes of food, doing some more last minute
bits like putting in the cooking stove, lashing blocks on to the stern for the Spinaker sheets, lashing in the life raft, and lots
of other little bits and bobs that needed to be done.
Now we are ready to go on our 24 shake down sail.
We may try and sail to Hermanus and back which means a nice little sail around the Cape. Might not though. We need to be back in on
Tuesday lunch to meet the customs officials at 2pm.
So now it all begins. This is why I came. Time to get the oilies on and get the wind in my face and salt water in my hair.
What fun.
