I spent the day on the yacht today getting my hands dirty. The B and G electronics guy, Paul and Alex from the boat builders and the mast makers were all on board doing their thing. I was lashing down some of the blocks and tackle whilst getting my head around the lines and the rigging.
There is an end in sight though quite a few details need to get finished like how to secure the storage boxes, how to store the lines and little stuff like that.
Hopefully get out for a sail on Saturday.
Next week we will be getting the food, doing customs forms, testing the computer and satellite equipment and trying out the boat.
Jonathan was in the Cape Times today.
